Welcome to the Laurel Library

The Laurel Library is a vibrant space where students discover the joy of reading, explore new ideas, and connect with stories that inspire. This year, we’ve celebrated with schoolwide events like Drop Everything and Read during Read Across America Month and National Library Week, and brought the community together for our Scholastic Book Fair.

Through engaging lessons on Digital Citizenship, creative writing with Haiku poems, and guidance on selecting a “just right” book, students have built skills that will serve them for a lifetime. They’ve also learned to use powerful research tools that support Project-Based Learning (PBL), helping them find reliable information, think critically, and present their ideas with confidence.

Our digital collection on SORA has opened doors to reading anywhere, anytime. At Laurel Library, every page turns into an opportunity for curiosity, creativity, and connection.
