Volunteer at Laurel!

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Many of you have expressed an interest in being a parent volunteer for the 2025-26 school year.  The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has created an online application to process volunteers.  Even if you were approved to be a school volunteer last year, you still need to resubmit an online application this year. 

Parents and guardians must access the online application through the district’s School Volunteer Management System.  This system can be accessed by going to the LA Unified Volunteer Application here.  You will need to log in using your Parent Portal Account Information. Once the application is complete, please register with our school for a project that you would like to volunteer with using the Laurel CACT Volunteer Interest Form. Please note:  No person may provide volunteer service until all necessary clearances are verified by the school principal, the volunteer has signed a copy of the online application and the Volunteer Commitment Forms, and a volunteer badge is issued by the Parent Community Student Services Branch. The badges are sent to the school for school personnel to distribute to volunteers. Once a person receives the volunteer badge, the volunteer is approved to provide services at that specific school.
