Hello!

My name is Ms. Deanna Gee and I currently teach Math & Science 6! I'm also one of the advisory teachers for 7th grade. I'm so happy to be here and to support students at Laurel alongside the other faculty members. I studied Economics (B.A.) and Education (B.A.) at UCLA ('24!) and am currently in my Resident Year at UCLA's Teacher Education Program. 

 

My hope for this year is to create a safe and warm environment that is conducive to learning and growth. Students can expect to be challenged by rigorous content in both Math and Science classes and to engage regularly with their peers -- because learning occurs through shared participation and practical applications in the classroom.
